Women's Economic Agenda

This Hartford Women's Economic Agenda Resource Guide is a direct result of research and interviews conducted by Councilwoman Bermudez's office with direct work by Hartford community authors: Katalina Euraque, Beatrice Alicea and Alondra Gardner.

The booklet was featured in 2016, at the First Women's Summit organized by Councilwoman Bermudez's office. The Women's Summit would not have been possible without amazing community partners like Planned Parenthood, CT Women's Education and Legal Fund, The CT Alliance for Basic Human Needs & the Working Families Party whom all made the Women's Summit a success!

The booklet below, helps shine a light on the realities and economic gaps that exist for many Hartford women.  This guide serves as a catalyst for helping to draft policies that are more inclusive of the needs of women living in underserved communities in Hartford and the region.   Click on it to READ MORE...
